When making the roll, the metallurgical quality of the roll should be strictly controlled or supplemented by external measures to enhance the bearing capacity of the roll. Double groove rubber breaking roll is a kind of roll. Reasonable roll shape, pass, deformation principle and rolling conditions can also reduce roll operation load, avoid partial peak stress and extend roll life. The reason is related to the residual stress of the roll itself, the mechanical stress during rolling and the thermal stress of the roll, especially when the temperature difference between the surface of the roll body and the core is large.




This temperature difference can be caused by poor roll cooling, intermittent cooling or overheating of the roll surface at the beginning of a new rolling cycle. The immeasurable temperature difference between the surface and the core of the roll leads to large thermal stress. When the large thermal stress, mechanical stress and the remaining stress of the roll exceed the core strength of the roll, the roll will be broken.




Cold welding repair method: the cold welding roller uses the principle of high-frequency discharge of electric spark to carry out non thermal surfacing on the metal surface, so there is no deformation, annealing, undercut and residual stress in the process of repairing the defects such as sand holes and scratches of the roller, and the metal arrangement is not changed. With high correction accuracy and coating thickness ranging from a few microns to a few millimeters, it can accumulate, seal and repair defects such as wear, scratch, pinhole, crack, defect deformation, hardness reduction, trachoma and harm of metal workpieces. It only needs grinding and polishing, and can also carry out various mechanical processing such as turning, milling, planing and grinding, as well as post-processing such as electroplating.
